Obituary of Yvonne Marie Trach

YVONNE MARIE TRACH Yvonne passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the age of 87 years. She was born February 22,1926, in Balcarres, SK, the youngest of six children. Yvonne, recently of William Booth Special Care Home and William Albert House Personal Care Home was predeceased by her parents, Lionel and Victoria Charette; husband John; husband Frank; grandson Nicholas; siblings Mary, Alma, John, Marguerite and Olive; brothers and sisters-in-law; as well as nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son Norman (Karen) Barrhead, AB: daughter Melanie (Don Addison) Regina, SK; grandchildren Travis (Megan) Regina, SK; Avrill Barrhead, AB; Shane Regina, SK; and she was great grandmother (GG) to Emerson. Attended school at the convent in Lebret, SK then became a hair dresser. Yvonne and a friend opened their own salon/shop called The Bonton (a combination of her nickname Bonnie and her friends last name Downton) located on 15th Avenue near the Regina General Hospital. She assisted with the day to day operations of Franks Construction Company. Yvonne was involved with Sedley CWL, Regina Cosmo Pals and Regina Royal Purple. She loved shopping with her 'ZIP ZIP' card, buying shoes, earning her the nickname Imelda Marcos? for her love of shoes. Yvonne enjoyed travelling to Hawaii; Hong Kong: Southern US states as well as weekly trips to the hairdresser. She fished with family and friends at Clam Lake at their fly in fishing camp, hosted numerous gatherings at their Kannata Valley cottage for family, friends and business associates and cleaning!!! Anytime, day or night she found something to clean. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam, may be made to a charity of one's choice. A very special THANK YOU to the staff of William Albert House Personal Care Home for your love and kindness shown to mom over the last four years. To the staff of William Booth Special Care Home, mom was only there a short time but thank you for your compassion.
