Obituary of Mary Antoinette Leibel

MARY LEIBEL (nee DIEWOLD) Mary passed away on Thursday October 27, 2011 at the age of 87. Mary is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband Emil, with whom she shared the past 66 years of her life; her five children: Jack (Louise) Leibel, Donn (Laurette) Leibel, Margaret (Wayne) Kiel, Glenn (Natalie) Leibel and Lynette (Terry) Hepper; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She is further survived by her two sisters Clara (Pete) Grzyb and Betz Wilks; sisters-in-law Camille (Mo) Pavan of Calgary and Shirley Leibel; many nieces and nephews as well as friends and neighbours (including good friend Alma Selzer). Mary was predeceased by four sisters; six brothers; and great granddaughter Chesney Eberle. Her family was her life and she created a home filled with love and warmth. Dairying was her passion and she milked cows until the age of 75, when she retired. She was the best in all of us and showed us what we could do. Thank you Mom for your unfailing kindness and understanding and for always letting us know that we were loved. You are forever in our hearts. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Josephs R.C.
