JEAN HUCK
Jean Huck passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009. Jean was born and raised in Vibank and worked in the familys General Store before moving to Regina. Jean then worked at SaskTel for 35 years and the Diocesan Centre in Regina for five years until her retirement. Upon retirement, Jean enjoyed traveling and she also remained active as a SaskTel Pioneer. Jean believed in the Christian principles of love and of helping others in need. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Adam and Katherine; her sisters, Sr. Louise (Rose), Sr. Cecilia (Helen), Mary, Marion, Loretta, Rita, Katherine; and her brother Peter. Jean is survived by her brother, Adam; sisters, Isabel and Hilda; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. The family wishes to thank the staff of Silva Care Seniors Home for their care of Jean over the last several years. We also wish to thank Dr. D. T. Hunter and the staff at the Regina General Hospital for the care provided to Jean. Prayers will be held on Monday, May 25, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. in Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church, 2049 Scarth Street, Regina with Rev. Emmett Morrissey presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make a donation, in memoriam, to a charity of choice.
