Obituary of Donalda Alexandra Tingle

Donalda Alexandra Tingle ( nee McCuaig ) December 3, 1922 " June 5, 2009 Donalda Tingle passed away peacefully on June 5, 2009. Donalda will always be remembered for her kind and gentle ways, her hard-working dependability, and her loving heart. Predeceased by Alfred, her husband of 59 years, and infant son James Alexander, Donalda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her friends and family: Donald (Janis) of Regina, Katherine (Gary) of Edmonton, Jane (Leo), Connor, Patrick (Lorinde), all of Calgary. Donalda enjoyed her life as an RCMP wife with postings throughout Saskatchewan from Humbolt, Kyle, Rosetown, Yorkton, Kamsack and finally to Regina. She served as Guardian of Bethel #14, I.O.J.D. and Donalda proudly retired from SGI in 1987. Donalda was also active with the RCMP Veterans Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Donalda made life-long friends on Daffodil Crescent where she and Al lived for forty years. Her greatest joy though was her family and it showed in everything she did. The Tingle family wishes to thank the staff at Dove House for their care and compassion given to their mother and grandmother over the past several years. A brief memorial service will be held at the RCMP Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Flowers are most gratefully declined.
