MARTIN HUGHES STAINES On Thursday, June 18, 2009 Martin Hughes Staines passed away at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Clara (nee Spencer); his first wife, Evelyn; his second wife, Marie; special friend, Henrietta Fairbairn; two sisters, Margaret (Scotty) Cameron, Grace Shaw; one brother, Fred. Martin is survived by his children, John (Lois) Milton, Graham (Marg) Milton, Janet Milton, Margaret (Lockie) McKinnon, Maureen Staines, Patricia (Mel) Allen; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Perry, Colleen Koswin; two brothers, Billy Staines, Arvid (Ruth) Olson. Martin served in the Military with the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers from 1942 " 1966 in Europe, Regina, SK, Shilo, MB, Val Cartier, PQ, and Winnipeg, MB. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Private family interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
