Obituary of Thomas George Cyca

THOMAS GEORGE CYCA On Saturday, June 20, 2009 Thomas George Cyca passed away at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary; a sister in infancy; brothers, Frank, Joseph, John, Peter and Edward. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Vi; two sisters, Mary (August) Printz, Elizabeth (Henry) Rogalsky; sister-in-law, Margaret; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was born in Lemberg, SK. He worked for Cairns Construction in Regina and later in the Plumbing and Heating Industry. He enjoyed curling and golfing. He was an avid football fan and was the proud owner of season tickets for thirty-four years. Prayers will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Cross R. C. Church, 315 Douglas Avenue East, Regina. Private family interment will be held in Lemberg, SK. Special thanks to Dr. M. T. Jancewicz and Mary and all the nurses in the Chemotherapy Centre; all the nurses and student nurses on Unit 3B; and Dr. Stewart McMillan and nurses on Unit 3A.
