Obituary of Erhart Frank Manz

ERHART MANZ June 4, 1924 to June 24, 2009 Erhart Manz, a much loved husband and father, died peacefully in his sleep at the Cupar & District Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife Lillie Manz, son Allan Manz, sisters: Alma Schmidt, Elsie Petrowicz, Clara (Scheske) Gee, and brother Wilfred Manz. He is predeceased by his daughter Linda Manz, sister Helen Schmidt, and parents Ottillia and Friedrich Manz. Erhart was born and raised in the Southey district, and operated farms in the Gibbs and Southey areas prior to opening a general mechanics shop in Southey. He operated that shop until December 2007. Erhart always enjoyed the interaction with friends and customers at his shop, and at the local coffee stop. The family thanks the staff at the Cupar and District Nursing Home for the loving care Erhart received during his stay there. A viewing will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Southey, SK on Sunday, June 28th at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Southey, SK, with Pastor Lowell Dennis officiating. An interment will follow at the Southey Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Erharts name, to the Cupar and District Nursing Home Ltd., P.O.
