Obituary of John Joseph McNamee

John J. McNamee It is with sadness that we announce that John McNamee lost his battle with cancer on Friday 3rd of July 2009 at the age of 76. A well known business man in the city and long serving member of Rotary, The Masonic Order, Eastern Star and a Shriner. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Ivy; daughters, Julie of Pitt Meadows, BC and Deborah (Trevor) of Vanscoy, SK; granddaughters, Julie (Kyle), Caitlin and Stephanie; and great-granddaughter, Avery. Along with nieces, nephews and his many friends both in Canada and England he will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Palliative Care Unit of Pasqua Hospital for their dedication and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday 11th July 2009, 1:30pm at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina.
