Obituary of Marion Murray Petruic

MARION PETRUIC October 23, 1926 to July 15, 2009 Marion passed away peacefully on July 15, 2009 at Silver Heights Special Care Home in Raymore. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Dan Petruic; parents Thomas and Alice Rodger; four sisters, Ethel (George) Bennett, Lyla (Stan) Mitchel, Alice (Gerald) Jersack, Luella (Don) Orton; sisters-and-brothers-in-law, George and Isabel, Tony, Nick, Ted Eli, Elmer, Pete and Hilda Petruic, Victor Ursu, John and Alice Apostle, Dan and Helen Scrimbitt. Marion is survived by her son Lon (Kathy) Petruic of Fort QuAppelle, SK; daughter Barbara Watson of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Corey (Lea-Anne) Deborah (Colin) MacKenzie, David (Keri), Wayd (Brittany), Tricia (Erwin) Freed; ten great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Derek Nicholls officiating.
