Obituary of Curtis Lyle Bellegarde

CURTIS LYLE BELLEGARDE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandson Curtis Lyle Bellegarde on July 20, 2009 at the age of 31. He is predeceased by grandfathers, Maglore Montgrand and William Bellegarde; and nephew Ethan Montgrand. Curtis is also predeceased by Brenda Minty, a woman who devoted 25 years of her life to his care and well-being, opening her home and sharing her family with us in kind thoughtful ways. Curtis is blessed to have been given two very considerate and loving families who are left to mourn his passing. He is survived by both Grandmothers, Mary Jane Gardiner and Olive Bellegarde; Parents, Frances and Alfred Montgrand; Sisters, Stephanie (Jason), Nicole; Brothers, Shane (Shauna), Alfred Jr. (Angie), Michael; Nephews and Nieces, Jordan, Nathan, Serenity, Shaenah, Madisyn, Justice, Sakari. He is also survived by and will be dearly missed by his brothers? Travis, Dale and family; sister? Julie and family. The sentiment felt equally strong amongst both families is one of pride, joy and the utmost gratitude that we were able to have him brightening our lives as long as we did. We wish to thank the wonderful staff of Cosmopolitan Centre for their kindness and the Craik Hospital for their compassionate care during his stay. A Celebration of Curtis life will be held TODAY (Thursday) at 3:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina.
