Obituary of Nick George Geran

Geran, Nicholas George September 13, 1975 - August 1, 2009 Nick Geran passed away August 1, 2009 in Vancouver far too many years before his time. Nick succumbed to complications from a lifelong blood disorder. He fought courageously for his life to the very end, as he always did with his health problems. He downplayed enormous suffering and stubbornly resolved to resume his active life. And for those who knew him, this was Nick. Nick had incredible passion for life. That passion gained Nick countless new friends wherever he was. It also inspired and amazed his existing network of friends and family. Along with his passion, Nick had stubborn determination. This helped Nick overcome health related hardships and lead a very active life that would reward him with personal and professional accomplishments. Nick was a versatile and accomplished chef and kitchen manager whose excellent professional reputation preceded him. Nick was driven by a genuine sense of wonder. This led him to explore many different cultures and lifestyles in various different parts of Canada wherever he would choose to live, until once again his passion and new curiosity would combine to persuade him to explore a different experience somewhere else. So in death, as in life, Nick is off on yet another adventure. Nick is survived by his parents Larry and Sharon Geran, siblings Ronda (Jason Coates), John, Crystal, Larry, Dustin, niece Caitlin Coates, nephews Hunter Geran, Rick Coates, Derek Coates, Ryan Coates.
