Obituary of Ruth Viola McCabe

RUTH VIOLA McCABE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth, at the age of 89 years, on Tuesday, November 6. 2012. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Leo; daughter Shannon; and parents Nels and Victoria. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Shelley (John) and grandchildren Chris, Nathan and Cassandra, and daughter Bonnie and grandson Liam (Toronto). Ruth was born in 1923 to Nels and Victoria Anderson. She worked in Saskatoon, Quebec and in Washington DC with the British Mission. Leo and Ruth met in Shaunavon in 1945 and were married in November 1947. They relocated many times with Leo's job from 1947-1968, finally settling in Regina. Leo was Branch Manager at Dairy Producers Co-op while Ruth worked at Crestview Chrysler. The family would like to thank all of the staff on 3rd floor at Santa Maria, especially her favorite, Nurse David, for the wonderful care that Ruth received.
