Obituary of Elizabeth Isabel Rae Rappel

Betty was born in Regina to parents Hugh and Jean Morrison and passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bob Wilson officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Memorial Park. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Betty is survived by her daughter, Dona-Rae Dixon (Brian) and their children, Lee (Kathleen), Laura (Lee) and Kurt; stepson, John Rappel (Mary) and their children, Jane (Jamie, great-grandchild, Veda), and Kevin; stepdaughters, Pat Welford (Brian) and their children, Erin (Scott), Deanna (Chris), Taryn, and Derek, Marian McMahon (Rob) and their children, Jill (Brett) and Steve. Betty is also survived by her sister, Ruth Libby and many nieces and nephews. Betty is predeceased by her first husband, Bert Callum; her second husband, Harold Rappel; and her brothers, John, Garth and Doug. The family would like to express a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Regina General Hospital for their care and compassion.
