Obituary of Tysheera Marie Tapaquon

Tysheera Toots? Marie Tapaquon (Black Cloud Woman) Tysheera Tapaquon passed away peacefully with family by her side in Regina, SK on October 6, 2009. Survived by mother, Raven Tapaquon; father, Kevin Gordon; baby brother, Tyson Rodney Tapaquon; grandparents, Lisa Tapaquon and Barry BuffaloCalf; great-grandmother, Joyce Tapaquon; great-great-grandmother, Lena OWatch; godmother, Trisha Tapaquon; great mushums, Bernard Tapaquon; great kokums, Virginia Tapaquon and Thelma OWatch; mushum, Darren (Sandra) Tapaquon; kokums, Enole (Chris) Tapaquon, Julie Tapaquon and Heather Tapaquon; special aunts, Miranda Swanson, Loveday Bennett, Tawny and Caitlyn Tapaquon, Samantha McKenzie, Melissa Ironchild, Lena Tapaquon and Mariesa Giovannetti; special uncle, Jason Tapaquon; as well as numerous relatives. Tysheera was heaven sent on June 18, 2008. She was the type of angel who could put a smile on everyones face even just by her presence. She loved to laugh, stick her tongue out and smile. She liked Dora the Explorer. Although her time on earth has been short, it was the upmost greatest experience anyone could ever imagine. We will miss her dearly but the Creator has other plans for her. May her body, mind, soul be at ease and rest in peace. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Calgary Childrens Hospital, RGH (MPICU) nurses, Dr. Ruthnum, Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, Bre Pagan and Rhonda Sugar for their caring. A wake will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship, 3131 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at the Carry the Kettle First Nation Band Hall with Rev. Bernice Saulteaux and Elder Clifford Carrier officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MPICU at the Regina General Hospital, 1440 " 14th Avenue, Regina, SK, S4P 0W5, or the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, 2180 " 23rd Avenue, Regina, SK, S4S 0A5.
