Obituary of Franklin John Trach

Frank, late of Regina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the William Albert House in Emerald Park. He was predeceased by his parents; grandson Nicholas; wife Lucille; sisters, Mary and Anne; brothers, Joe and Mike. Frank is survived by his loving wife Yvonne; son Norm (Karen) of Prince George; daughter Melanie Holtskog (Don Addison) of Regina; grandchildren, Travis (Megan Dearle), Avrill and Shane; great-granddaughter Emerson, born on October 8, 2009; sisters, Emily and Verna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was the Past President of the Regina Cosmopolitan Club, a member of the Regina Elks Club, and numerous other clubs. He began his own construction company, Frank Trach Construction Limited in 1956, and retired from the business in 2001. He loved horse races, traveling, hunting, fishing, auctions and his later years playing crib. Frank will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be held Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK. Interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Friends so wishing, may make donations in memoriam, to a charity of their choice.
