Obituary of Norman Johann Josephson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Johann Josephson on October 10, 2009 at the age of 84 years after a short illness. Norman was a wonderful and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a kind, caring, hardworking individual, enjoying his solitude. He had a great sense of humor, enjoying life. He was a quiet man and enjoyed listening to his music and loved his bowling. He was predeceased by his wife Signe, his father Joe, his mother Lilja and his brother-in-law Ken. He is survived by his four children Synde (Wayne), Lois, Delmor (Brenda), Derrel (Judy), and his five grandchildren Brett, Amanda (Steve), Erik (Robyn), Wilson (Sawndra) and Darren (Elizabeth) and five great grandchildren; his sister Ellen and her three sons David, Rick and Terry. A special thank you to the staff at the Regina General Hospital 5F and Wascana Rehabilitation Centre 3-2 for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Grandpa. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday October 15, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Memorial Service will take place Friday October 16, 2009 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend David Harrison officiating. Interment at 3:00 p.m. in Pleasant View cemetery, Wynyard SK. In lieu of flowers memorial, donations may be made to the Wolfe Stroke Unit, Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, 2180 23rd Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan S4S 0A5.
