Obituary of Robert Richard Gibson

The extraordinary life of Robert (Bob) Richard Gibson came peacefully to an end, in the loving arms of his son on October 17, 2009. Bob is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Elizabeth (Betty) Margaret; daughters, Beverley White (Jim White of Calgary, AB) and their daughter Kayla, Darlene Sterling (Steve Sterling of Regina, SK) and their children, Devon and Blair (Tyler Lerat); son Brian Gibson (San Francisco, CA); great-grandsons, Aidan and Landon Sterling, Taye and Crue Lerat. He will be sadly missed by his sister Lyla Bateman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 6:00 " 8:00 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK. Everyone is welcome to the Funeral Mass at Little Flower R. C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina on Wednesday, October 21 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a lunch with Bobs family to celebrate this wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Interment will be Thursday, October 22 at sunrise at Regina Memorial Gardens.
