Obituary of Rose Alma Gray

It is with great sadness that the family of Rose Gray announces her passing on October 28, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband James, her parents, Laurence and Clara Perreault, sons, Victor (Jack) and Kenneth, two brothers Paul and George, two sisters Florence and Louise. Rose is survived by one daughter Judy of Regina, three sons, Joseph (Alice) of Regina, Jerry (Mona) of Pilot Butte, Dennis (Sandy) of Regina. 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, one sister Lillian (Myles) Goudy of Regina, two daughters-in-law, Debra Gray of Neudorf and Debbie Gray of Regina, many nieces and nephews. Rose was born in Wolseley, Saskatchewan. In 1947 she married James Gray and raised six children. They lived in many towns as the family was growing up, her husband worked for CPR. In 1983 they retired to Regina where Rose lived until her passing. Rose enjoyed her family and friends to have coffee, visiting, playing cards, dice and going to the casino and playing bingo. Prayers will be held at 7:00pm on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10:30am at St. Charles R. C. Church, 1171 Broder Street, Regina, Rev. John Mock presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 " 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, S7K 2H8. Roses family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the RGH (Emerg, MPICU, 5A and Palliative Care) for their caring for Mom.
