Obituary of Elva Marie Jeanette McKechnie

Elva Marie Jeannette McKechnie (nee Vandale) was born in Moose Jaw on January 18, 1923, and passed away peacefully, with family at her side on Tuesday November 10, 2009 at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Bill and is survived by children Murray (Denise), Paula, Rich (Pat), and grandchildren Nicole (Glen), Rejeanne, Justine, Emily, Mark (Jayne), Paul (Richelle), Rikki (Andrew), and great- granddaughter, Olivia. A Celebration of Her Life, by Family and Friends will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. Her children would like to thank and recognize all the staff of Veterans Wing unit 3-5 for the wonderful care they gave to Mom. In lieu of flowers and because Mom loved her dogs, donations in her memory may be made to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143 Regina, S4P 3G7.
