Obituary of Alan Gregory Appenheimer

Alan passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 22, 2009. Alan is predeceased by his father, Arnold Appenheimer; and stepfather, Walt Steininger. Alan will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Florence Steininger; sister, Gail (Pleun) Notenboom; niece, Lauren Notemboom; nephew, Sean (Erin) Notenboom; step-sister, Barb Steininger; step-brothers, Bernie (Vivien) and Rob (Megan) Steininger. Alan graduated from the College of Pharmacy in 1978 and worked at various drug stores in Regina. He moved to Fort QuAppelle in 2002 and worked in the Pharmasave Drug Store. Alan enjoyed playing baseball and hockey. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. Alan was a loyal Saskatchewan Roughriders fan. A private family graveside service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined.
