EDNA FLORENCE? EMMINS November 30, 1934 - November 25, 2012 Edna Florence? Emmins passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the age of 77 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Frank Emmins; her parents Bert and Hilda Earis; sister-in-law Dolores Earis; nephew Rodney Earis; and brother-in-law Don Siegel. Florence is survived by her children Barbara, Elwin, Dianne and Karen (Gerald) Zimmer; the joy of her life, three precious grandchildren Mitchell, Stephanie and Kendal as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, many special friends, and the hundreds of Luther College students who called her Mom.? Florence was born in Humboldt, SK and was raised in the Bay Trail area. After finishing high school, she moved to Regina where she enjoyed various careers with Sears, Government of Saskatchewan, Massey Day Care and finally 20 years with Luther College. Florence will forever be remembered for her endless volunteering, generosity, and never ending positive outlook. Her passion for life and people led her to be on many organizations boards such as the Regina Horticulture Society, Square Dance Clubs, Members of Government House Society, Biography Regina, Royal Canadian Legion, Lakeview United Womens, Christian Womens and Trefoil Ladies (Girl Guides). Campaigning endless for CNIB, Cancer Society, Diabetes and the list goes on. Florence was an avid Rider fan, holding season tickets for many years. She was also a life-long fan of the Craven Country Jamboree. Florences love of gardening, her flowers, and sewing along with her weekly bowling and fitness classes kept her constantly on the go.
