Obituary of Marjorie Gardiner

Gardiner, Marjorie 1925-2009 Passed away peacefully with family by her side, Friday December 18, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, David and Agnes Clive, Son Brian, Daughter Glenna, Sister Edna Duncan and Brothers Gordon and Howard Clive. Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Gordon, son Don (Debra Ann) their children, Jennifer and Scott, Son-in-law Craig Hale (Roanne) his children, Heather, Susan (Wayne) and David, Daughter-in-law Leanne Naka (Wayne) her children, Taylor (Sandy), Brandi (Jody) and Nicole, as well as six Great Grandchildren. Marjorie was born in Regina, January 31, 1925, where she attended South Regina School and Central Collegiate. Upon completing her education she worked for MacPherson and Thom. Gordon and Marjorie were married on October 15, 1949 and farmed until their retirement in 2007, after which they moved into Regina. Marjorie was past President of The Princess Patricia Club and past Chief of Camp Balmoral Sons of Scotland. Grandma loved to please us all with her delicious baking and she always loved to entertain. She loved her many gatherings in her park at the farm with friends and family. A summer never went by when Marjorie and Gordon didnt host a picnic? where a good time was had by all. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday December 23, 2009 at 1:00pm in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
