Obituary of Kathleen Anna Arnusch

October 31, 1923 - January 10, 2010 We have lost a good one.? The family sadly announces the sudden passing of Kay on Sunday, January 10, 2010. Kay was predeceased by her parents and siblings, as well as her husband, John, and son, Gary. She is survived by her CHILDREN: Gerald (Lilyan), Elaine (Alonso Celis), and Kathy (John Sefton); daughter-in-law Lynda Oliver; GRANDCHILDREN: Jill (Paul Schulz) and JJ Arnusch (Nathalie); Joelle Arnusch (Robert Regala) and Michelle Arnusch; Amy Celis-Arnusch (fianc Marshall Young) and Daniel Celis-Arnusch; April and Ben Sefton; GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Sarah and Meghan Schulz; Laura and Sophia Arnusch. Also, many nieces and nephews. Kays smile lit up any room. She embodied the qualities of kindness, charity, and the love of a good time. Although she endured many losses, including the deaths of family members and close friends, still she made a point of greeting each day with a smile. She had a way of making anyone feel special, be they friend, family member, neighbour, or even the family pets. She leaves behind many friends, of all ages, from all stages of her life, from her childhood in the Willow Bunch area, to friends made when she and John owned the store, through to friends and neighbours from Fleury Street, Holy Cross Church, Wee-Too Beach and The Bentley, where she spent her last two years. As she aged, she continued to reach out. She was very proud of the accomplishments of all her family and kept in close contact with all of them. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 315 Douglas Avenue East, Regina with Rev. Thomas Nguyen presiding. Interment to follow in Regina Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined.
