Obituary of Leslie Raymond Hornung

MAY 2, 1950 " JANUARY 12, 2010 The family would like to announce the passing of Les,? on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the age of 59. Les was predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret, and his brother Larry. He is survived by his loving partner, Sharon and their two children, Corey and Sharleen (Travis). Les is also survived by his sisters Donna (Bill) and Carol Ann (Neil); brother Delmer; and sister-in-law Terry, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including his lifelong friend Larry Rister. Les was born in Vanguard, SK, and worked at Regina Provincial Correctional Centre until his retirement. He loved carpentry, but his pride and joy was his greenhouse, where he spent many hours working. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital for providing such compassionate care for Les. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Cremation. Flowers gratefully declined.
