Obituary of Sylvia Yvette Soros

April 2, 1959 " January 13, 2010 On Wednesday, January 13, 2010, Sylvia, at the age of 50 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by family following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving daughter, Mandi (Chad), and her precious grandchildren, Hailie and Ethan of Buena Vista. Sylvia is also survived by her mother, Medy of Toronto; 3 brothers: Paul Gabe? (Kathy) Kurty of Regina, Zoltan Soros (Yvette) of Regina and Ron Soros of Toronto, and a sister, Sybil (Michael) Owens of Calgary; numerous nieces and nephews, including Matthew, Jessica, Callum, Macallister and Harrison, with whom she had a very special bond; and her loving friend and companion, Bob Bishop. Sylvia was a loving and caring person who treasured her family and friends and held her daughter and grandchildren close to her heart. She had a great appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Sylvia often spoke of how happy it made her to sit on her deck and look out onto the lake just listening to the birds singing. She loved her camping trips, puttering in her yard, boating on the lake, and was an avid sports fan who loved to show her Rider Pride. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 22nd at 2:00 pm at the Regina Beach Memorial Hall, Regina Beach SK. Cremation.
