Obituary of Charles Herbert Shulver

Charles, late of Regina, SK passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010. Predeceased by his wife Hester in 2004; daughter Sylvia in 2009; two sisters Ethel (Pete) Schobert, Ruby (Eric) Bradley; two sons-in-law Milton Thomas and William Bryant. Charles is survived by his two daughters Mavis Bryant and Carol Thomas (Bob Hill) of Carlyle, SK; five grandchildren Wes (Heather) Thomas, Kevin (Connie) Thomas, Paula (Brad) Jones, Devona (Bob) Moore and Donavon (B.J.) Harris; thirteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. Charles had a lifelong interest in nature and loved the land. After attending the U of S, College of Agriculture in the 1920s, he farmed with his father, Herb " this being his lifes work. Charles joined the Masonic Lodge in 1939 in Woodrow. He belonged to O.E.S. from 1949 " starting in Meyronne " was WGP in 1979 and visited all 88 chapters in Saskatchewan. He joined the Wa Wa Shrine in 1991 in Regina. Wisdom and quick wit made him an exceptional person. Such a good long life! Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina.
