Obituary of Edward John Kryski

EDWARD JOHN KRYSKI Edward passed away peacefully on Friday, November 30, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ed was born in Yorkton on September 20, 1930. He will be sorrowfully missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Florence; daughter Twyla (Jim) Virtue, grandson Jordon of Regina; son Scott (Susan) Kryski, grandsons Mark and Scottie of Langley, BC; and many very dear nephews and nieces. Ed began his working career as a teacher in a country school near Yorkton. After several years he began working with the Highway Traffic Board in Lloydminster and was transferred to Moosomin, where he was in charge of the Weigh Scale. Ed ended his career in Regina as a senior executive and held the title of Chief Driver Examiner for the Province of Saskatchewan. After retiring from the government, he started his own business in the electronic entertainment industry. Throughout his life, Ed was an avid athlete, sportsman and fan. One of his passions was curling and was proud to hold the position of president of the Moosomin Curling Club for many years. Ed was predeceased by his parents Mary and John Kryski; and sisters Olga (John) Klimchuk, Jean (Albert) Lozinski, Adella (Emil) Grywacheski and Stella (Metro) Klimchuk, all of the Yorkton area. There will be a private family interment at a later date. Flowers are most gratefully declined.
