Obituary of Gordon Mohr

On Saturday, January 23, 2010, Lloyd passed away suddenly following a brief battle with cancer at the age of 80 years. One of thirteen children, Lloyd was a kind, generous, and loyal man, who thought of others first and was always willing to lend a hand to his family and friends, all of whom were very close to him. He was an avid reader, gardener and loved music, particularly big band music. Lloyd was married for 52 years to Margaret Mae (Wearmouth), while he enjoyed a career with SaskTel for 32 years. Upon retirement, Lloyd and Margaret travelled extensively around the world. Lloyd was predeceased by his wife Margaret; sisters Evelyn Julei, Anne McDougall, Minnie Sox, and Eleanor Quinlan; brothers Leslie and Norman Mohr. He is survived by his sons Larry Mohr, and Jeff (Shelley) Mohr; his two precious granddaughters Taylor and Paige; sisters Vi Julie, Doreen Karpuk, Georgina Legault; brothers John Mohr, Harvey (Dea) Mohr and Garry Mohr. A private family interment will take place in Regina Memorial Gardens.
