Obituary of Alice Gertrude Sheetz

MARCH 7, 1933 " FEBRUARY 8, 2010 Alice Sheetz passed away at the Regina General Hospital after a brief illness. She will be affectionately remembered by her adopted family, the Bauers, who cared for her over many years. Alice was predeceased by her father Henry, mother Hazel, and all her siblings. Alice was one of eight children who grew up on a farm. She moved to Regina in the late sixties. She exemplified the typical Saskatchewan farm girl, who loved the outdoors, nature, animals and flowers. She was also an avid Saskatchewan Roughrider fan, and listened to every match, either on radio, or watched it on television. Alice will be remembered for her spontaneous laughter,friendly disposition and her gentle love of all creatures. A Celebration of Alices Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK with Rev. Lorne Crozon officiating. Cremation has taken place.
