Obituary of Marlene Mary Davenport

Davenport, Marlene Mary (nee: Gelsinger) February 10, 1943 February 12, 2010. Marlene passed away at Laurel Place in Surrey, BC at the age of 67 years. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband Roger Davenport and by her daughters Shelley Fink (Allan); Deidre Gustus (David); Shelley and Deidre's father Ken Thurlow; grandchildren, Taylor, Kyle and Maddy Fink; Sister Loretta Ritsco (George); Brother Ron Gelsinger (Diana); nephews Ronald Ritsco, Shannon, Kevin Gelsinger; and niece Kimberly Sullivan. Marlene had a passion for flowers and gardening, enjoyed travelling and working with ceramics. She also had a special place in her heart for her pet poodles. Marlene will be missed by all the lives she touched. If so desired in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marlene's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A family memorial will be held in Marlene's honour at Speers Family Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan, on February 27, 2010, between 1:30 and 3:00.
