Obituary of Eldred Stephen Irvine

Eldred Irvine passed away February 17, 2010 at Parkside Extendicare in Regina, he was 66 years old. Predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Bessie Irvine. Eldred is survived by his four children: daughter Ruby Ann Briggs (Dion) of Maple Creek, SK; and three sons: Owen Irvine (Jamie) of Regina, SK, Eldred Irvine Jr (Patti) of Sedley, SK,and Mike Irvine of Regina, SK; seven grandchildren: Cody Hartness (Sabrina), Victoria Briggs, Lori Ann Briggs, Ian Briggs of Maple Creek, Amber Irvine, Justin Irvine, Krystal Irvine of Moose Jaw, SK, Corey Irvine of Regina; and one great-grandchild Paxtyn Hartness of Maple Creek. He is also survived by his siblings: two brothers, Gerald from Matapedia, QC, Vincent from Moncton, NB; and one sister Fern from Matapedia, QC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was born April 30, 1943. He worked for Saskatchewan Transportation Corporation for 20+ years where he enjoyed every minute at his job. He really enjoyed camping, and taking his sidekick Cody. They did everything together (even showing him how to play crib). When he was camping he liked to play a good game of horseshoes with anyone willing. He was always up to play the game. When night would come Dad and Cody would start the campfire together and welcome all to join them. Dad was always the last to go to bed if he didnt fall asleep in his chair.
