Obituary of Henry Clifford Moise

We are sad to announce that our father, brother, grandfather and uncle has passed away on February 24, 2010 at Lestock Care Centre. Henry Clifford Moise was born on May 7, 1933 on the Muskowekwan First Nation. Predeceased by his wife, Bertha Rose, daughter Patricia Anne, son Joseph Charles (Teddy), and sons and daughters Allan, Joseph, Brian, Ethel and Patricia, who passed away during infancy, his father, Joseph Charles Moise, sister Alexanderina, brother Joseph Charles Jr., sister Eleanor Moise, sister Shirley Moise, Joseph, Marvin and Edith, and one girl in infancy. He is survived by his mother Philomene, his children Eric (Margaret), Arlen W, Ernest (Shiela), Beverly (Ernest), Gloria and Amanda (Chris), his brother Douglas, and sisters Myrtle, Pauline, Marlene (Terry) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed. Henry was a very hard worker all his life. He served his community by being a Band Councillor, Elder, sat on the TLE Board for Muskowekwan, operated the grader for 12-15 years, drove Taxi to assist his community members and worked for farmers most of his life throughout the community and area. Many thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's Care Centre for the wonderful care. A Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2010 in Muskowekwan Band Hall. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Muskowekwan Band Hall. Interment in Muskowekwan Cemetery.
