Obituary of Wai Foo Yee

YEE, Frank Wai Foo went home to his Heavenly Father on February 26, 2010 at the age of 80. Born in Toysan, China, Frank immigrated to Canada in October of 1950. On December 27, 1955, Frank married his lifelong love, Pearl Boy Wah Woon, in Regina. For 38 years, Frank and Pearl owned and operated Second Avenue Grocery and Confectionery, retiring 1997 with pride, after seeing their five children established in successful careers. Devoted husband, father and grandfather, Frank is predeceased by wife, Pearl (April 9, 2003). He will be missed but eternally loved by mother, Wan King Yee; children, Jamie (Valerie), Johnnie (Joanne), Ronnie (Rose), Shirley (Ron), Beverley (Alvin); grandchildren, Jasmin, Benjamin, James, Joshua, Hayley, Hannah, Marissa, Matthew, Mariah, Justin, Jeannine, Andrew and fondly remembered by numerous relatives and friends in Canada, China and United States. Prayers at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue March 16, 2010, 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service March 17, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at the Regina Chinese Alliance Church, 3010 Arens Road E. with Rev. Gershom Ng officiating. Interment Riverside Memorial Park.
