Obituary of Howard Lemuel Crawford

Passed away at the Regina General Hospital after a courageous battle. Howard is survived by his children Jack, Ron, Jim (Melissa) and Lori (Randy) of Regina and Carol (Gregg) of Gronlid, SK. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brothers Marvin (Bep) Kamloops, BC and Bob (Elaine) of Calgary AB. Howard was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Howard was predeceased by his loving wife Lillian Crawford, his son Douglas Crawford, his parents Elene and Alex Crawford and brother Earl Crawford. Howard was a very hard working energetic man. He worked for SaskTel from November 1949 until his retirement in August 1983. After a very brief retirement,? Dad started his own business Howard Crawfords Painting Inc.? that has been in operation for 26 years now. He loved spending time with his family, doing many different things, some of which included hunting, fishing, spending time at the family cottage and socializing with numerous friends. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. The service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina.
