Obituary of Mary Margaret Farnel (Davies)

Surrounded by her loving family, Mary Margaret Maggie? Farnel, late of Regina, passed away peacefully after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the age of 62 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Melvin Farnel and Janet Skeleton, and her brother Allen Farnel. Maggie will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Andrea Davies, Janet Leflar (Wade Anderson) and Marne Lawlor (David); her beloved grandchildren, Jared Davies, Hannah Leflar, and Barrett. Maggie was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Maggie was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and pursued a rewarding career as a nurse in Regina. Throughout her life, she enjoyed hobbies such as knitting, cross stitch and reading. She had a love for dogs and in particular her late apricot poodle Lucas. Maggie had a wonderful sense of humour and lit up the room with her charm and laughter. She was plagued for several years with Multiple Sclerosis, however she would not let this dampen her lively and vibrant personality. She will be sadly missed by many. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 22, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Moose Jaw.
