Obituary of John Rene Paget

John Rne Paget passed away April 1st, 2010 caused by a work related accident. John was born in London, Ontario, Canada on June 18th 1952. His parents, Eddie and Joyce Paget, moved their family to Southern California in 1962. John attended Sacred Heart Parochial school and thereafter graduated from Damien Boys High School located in Pomona, California. His employment over the years included specialty tile roofing and, most recently, as a certified heavy machine operator at Wheat City Metals. John was a free spirit. John loved to golf, fish and spend time with his cousins and buddies. He loved cars, especially collecting and reconditioning them for resale. He enjoyed all types of music and was always going to concerts with friends and cousins. The most important and endearing quality of John was that he so loved his family. John is predeceased by his father Edward J. ("Eddie") Paget and brother Edward J. ("Ted") Paget Jr. John is survived by his mother Joyce Paget; wife Judy; sons Paul Paget, and Sheldon Williams; and daughter Danielle Paget. He is also survived by his grandchildren Cayden and Savannah Paget; brothers David, Michael and Peter Paget ; sisters Joy (Paget) Roberts, Debra (Paget) Hoover and Jane (Paget) Skerritt. John is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins by the dozens, and friends near and far. Viewing will be held from 7:45 pm. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010 in Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue E, Regina.
