Obituary of Nelson Joseph Schuck

Nelson Joseph Schuck passed away on April 2, 2010. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Ignatius Schuck, 9 brothers and sisters and his wife Doreen (nee Evans) Schuck. Nelson is survived by his daughter Joanne Hubick, grandchildren Michael (Victoria), Bonnie (Dallas), Crystal (Kevin); great granddaughters, Kali, Olivia, Maya and Braxtyn; his extended daughter and son Sharon Capewell and Bob Schuck; as well as many family members and friends. Nelson also leaves behind, to cherish their memories of 5 years together, his best friend, companion and confidante Eveyln Petroski. Nelson was born on April 14th 1930. As a small boy he was raised on a farm with his sister Margaret. He attended Notre Dame College, worked and became part owner at Commercial Printers Ltd. He was an avid bowler and coach for many years, loved doing crossword puzzles, playing games with his friends and family, and recently turned back to his Catholic faith. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the nurses of 5E at the RGH and to Nadine his long time therapist. As well we would especially like to thank Dr. Stephen Bester and Dr. Abdulla for their years of care and kindness, without you, he would not have lived this long. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memoriam to the Saskatchewan Lung Association 1231 8th Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5.
