Obituary of Brenda Joanne Hebig

Brenda, our loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Predeceased by her father Kenneth; and brother-in-law Earl Schmidt; Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Gord; son Greg (Selena) of Ottawa and their children Kyle and Maddi; son Wade (Sandi) of Kronau and their children Jesse and Landon; mother Doreen; sisters and brothers, Gail (Red) Morisey, Wilf (Margaret) Snider, Linda Schmidt, Doug (Rhonda) Snider; and numerous nieces and nephews. In 2005, Brenda retired from nursing after spending several years with the Regina QuAppelle Health Region. She enjoyed her retirement doing the things she loved, such as baking, knitting, travelling, and cruising down the highway on the back of Gords motorcycle, but the true joy of her heart was spending time with her family. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of 3A, 3B and Allan Blair Cancer Centre, Pasqua Hospital, as well as to Dr. McLeod and Dr. ChalChal. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Grace Mennonite Church, 2935 Pasqua Street, Regina, SK.
