Obituary of Wilfred Edwin Longmore

WILFRED EDWIN LONGMORE April 14, 1921 December 10, 2012 We are sorry to announce the passing of Wilf Longmore on Monday, December 10, 2012. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Rose Longmore; brother Bob; two nephews; and one niece, he is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy (nee Steinhauer); son Jim (Joyce); daughters Linda Longmore and Colleen (Ken) Brandt; son Larry (Doris); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wilf is also survived by sisters Eileen (Everett) Kleven and Muriel (Trevor) Jones; brother Lionel (Lois) Longmore; and sister-in-law Isabelle Longmore. Memorial Service to remember Wilfs life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to express their heartful thanks to the staff at the Pasqua Palliative Care Unit and the Veterans Wing at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for their kindness and care they provided Dad.
