Obituary of Elva Ruth Hein

Surrounded by her family and loved ones, Elva Hein (nee Schaffer), passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK. Elva was born on the family farm near Kettlehut, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her brothers Edward and Ernie, husband Arnold, father-in-law Joseph Hein, mother Ida (nee Zimmerman), father Jacob Schaffer; brothers-in-law Joseph Hein, William Paul, George Knoblauch, Nick Nicol, Albert Hein, Daniel Hein, Joe Lobe, Jack Lopes, and Kuno Mohl; sisters-in-law Bertha (nee Walters), Ruby Hein, Kathleen (nee Barth), Patricia Hein, Freida Lopes, Lena Paul; sisters Alma Nicol, Aida Mohl. Elva is survived by brothers John and Jacob (Joan); sisters Agnes, Josephine, and Freida, son Larry and daughter Brenda, numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Prayers & Visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Cremation to follow. Memorial Service at 1:30 pm Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in Gateway Christian Fellowship Church, 1812 Arthur Street, Regina with interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
