Obituary of Katherine Nechvatal

Katherine passed away peacefully at the age of 77, on April 13, 2010. She was born in Revenue, Saskatchewan on December 10, 1932. Predeceased by her parents, Mike and Wilma Welder, brother Tony and sister Dorothy. Kay is survived by her children Robert, Robin (Ed), Belinda and Theresa; her grandchildren Amanda (Doug), Christine (Aaron), Jessica (Brad), Michael, Trevor, William, Mickaela, and numerous foster grandchildren; her brothers Frank (Hazel), Ron (Karen) and Ray (Joan); sisters Mary, Eleanor (Hank), Rose (Rudy), Lynn (Al), Jean (Art), and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Katherine was a long time member of the Coop Ladies Bowling League, an active member of Regina Senior Citizens Centre, and volunteered at many Bingo centres for charities, especially for Canadian Mental Health. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010 in Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue, East, Regina (Please meet at gate). The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at Palliative Care, Pasqua Hospital, and 6F of Regina General Hospital.
