Obituary of Albert Loverick

ALBERT LOVERICK May 19, 1919 December 10, 2012 Albert, late of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 at the age of 93 years. Albert was born on May 19, 1919 and he was the oldest son to George and Paulina (deceased). He had three brothers, Johnny (deceased), Alfred (deceased) and Larry. Albert was born and raised in the QuAppelle Valley, where he met Irene and married, and where they did mixed cattle and grain farming. Albert and Irene raised four children, Linda, Steven, Michael and Susan and they lost a son, Milton at birth. Albert was a busy man all his life with his farming and he was also an amazing carpenter. He built houses for a company in Regina and also made the most lovely cupboards. After retirement, he would build doll house and make furniture for them until his eyesight became poor. Albert enjoyed spending time with his friends and playing whist. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Albert is survived by his loving wife Irene; daughter Linda (Norm), son Steven (Sylvia), son Michael (Marj) and daughter Susan (Fred); seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and brother Larry (Dorothy) of BC.
