Obituary of Marjorie Doreen Zimmerman

In loving memory of our Mom, Grandma and sister, Marjorie. In peace at last. Marjorie Zimmerman (nee Knight) passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Regina Lutheran Home. Born in Moose Jaw and resided there until 1980 when she moved to Regina. Her family and children were the focus of her life. Survived by her children. Linda (Vaughan) Cochrane, Everett (Diana) Florence, Kevin (Tracy) Florence, Angela (Joe) Nichvalodoff, Larry Zimmerman, sister Betty (Harold) Cave, brother Richard (Charlotte) Knight, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Albert Zimmerman, first husband Everett Florence, son Raymond Florence, her parents and her special companion dog Gizmo. In 2005 Mom moved to the Lutheran Care Home because of failing health. There she found a comfortable home and received compassionate care from the staff. Mom lived a simple life and found pleasure in small things, especially visits from family or friends. Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to Regina Lutheran Home, 1925 5th Ave. North, Regina, SK S4R 7W1, or to your local humane society.
