Obituary of Ronald Edward Bearss

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Bearss. Ron was predeceased by his wife Willa, parents Reginald and Meryle, his brother Reginald and his sister June. He is lovingly remembered by his brother Terry (Olive), sister Linda (Al), children Virginia (Fred) Barnes, Sharon (Nick) Fox, Penny (Rick) Wagman, Ron (Gloria) Bearss, David (Dorothy) Bearss. Ron is also survived by his grandchildren, Nathan (Lisa) Barnes, Jason(Ellie) and Ryan (Karen) Fox, Joshua (Dawn) and Christopher (Kristin) Wagman, Ellen Bearss, Brandi (Joe) North West, Nicole (Shawn) Osier and Shane Bearss. He is also mourned by his great grandchildren Kiana, Owain, Isabel, Fawn, Eric and Bryden. Ron was a Veteran of the Second World War where he served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Ron and his brother Terry built the first motel in Regina, the Golden West, and later built the New Golden West. Ron was an avid hunter, a passion which he shared with his sons. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Thank You to the staff at Kinmara Care Home for their kindness and support. A Celebration of Ronalds Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2010, in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK.
