Obituary of Doreen Violet Stevens

Doreen Stevens, born July 10, 1922, passed away at the age of 87, on Sunday, April 18, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Ellen Stevens; three brothers, Arthur, Leslie, and Mervin; and one sister Vera Halvorson. Doreen is survived by her niece Diane Halvorson, three sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Doreen worked for the Department of Indian Affairs until her retirement; as well, she taught Sunday School at St. Peters Anglican Church. Doreen had many hobbies, she loved reading, knitting, crocheting, crafts and painting. She dearly loved her niece, Diane her face would light up every time she saw her. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK with Rev. Derek Nicholls officiating.
