Obituary of John Edwin Lyndel Swetman

JOHN EDWIN LYNDEL SWETMAN John passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 in Regina, Sk. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sandra Mary Arsenault; brother David and sister Joan Johnston both of Abbotsford, B.C. John is survived by his son Edwin of Innisfail, AB and daughter Martina Burt of Moncton, NB; four granddaughters; two grandsons, eleven great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters; sister Marjorie (Don) Rembaugh of Washington, USA; sister-in-law Alma of Abbotsford, BC; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. John was an army cook and bushcamp cook for many years and then became a commissionaire in Regina before retiring. He always enjoyed dancing, hockey and baseball. We wish to express a heartfelt thank you to Johns caring friend, Michael OConnor. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at St. Pauls Anglican Cathedral Columbarium.
