Obituary of Jean Munro

It is with sorrow that we announce that Jean Munro passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. She was born in Melville, SK and moved to Regina after World War II. Jean was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was predeceased by her parents George and Eliza Reid, her husband Donald in 1980, daughter Karen in 1965, daughter-in-law Gloria in 1989, as well as nine brothers and sisters. Jean is survived by her son Al Munro, and his children Brian (Andrea), Greg (Crystal) and David (Stevie); son Bob Munro; son Garry (Ginny) Munro, and their son Riley (Jacqui); daughter Judith (Mark) Swendrowski, and their children Erica (Nathan), Allison (Andy) and Thomas; daughter Laurel Ross, and her daughter Crystal (Dan); nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sunset Extendicare for their care and compassion. Flowers gratefully declined.
