Obituary of Lynette Marie McPherson

Lynette , late of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the age of 64 years, after a brave battle with dementia. Predeceased by her parents, she is survived by her husband, Gordon; her sister Denise (Greg) Wenger; and nephew Rob (Pam). Lynette will also be greatly missed by her children, Scott McPherson, grandchild Sasha; and Kara (Jonathon) Thorpe, grandchildren Marcus and Marley. She was born to Stan and Margarette Sangrett on July 9, 1948, and married Gordon on July 19, 1969. Her life’s passions included playing bingo and trying to win it big at the casino. Lynette took great pride in being a co-owner of Stage 2 Dancewear. She talked dearly about the friends she made throughout the dance community. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Good Samaritan R.C. Church, 425 Broad Street North, Regina on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to invite everyone to the Victoria Club following the service for a luncheon.
