Obituary of Josephine Shillingford

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Josephine Shillingford on Sunday, May 9, 2010. Josephine was born November 22, 1923 in Bienfait, SK. She and Bob lived in Balgonie for 50 years, and after his passing, she moved to Regina Lutheran Home which has been her home for the last three years. Josephine was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Bob; parents Peter and Pauline Bachynski; brother Tom Bachynski; sisters-in-law May and Gladys; and brothers-in-law Pat, Scotty and Clarence. Left to mourn are her children: son Robert (Heather), and grandson Ryan (Krystal); daughter Lori (Peter) Neustaedter and grandchildren Peter Jr. and Sara; and son Monty (Denise) and grandchildren Christopher (Rachelle) and Jordan; as well as great grandchildren Lucas and Nicholas. Josephine is also survived by her sisters-in-law Libby (Ralph) Lawrence and Pearl Simons. A Celebration of Josephines Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Regina Lutheran Home Chapel, 1925 5th Avenue North, Regina, SK, S4R 7W1. Flowers gratefully declined.
