Obituary of June Oglesby

It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of June Monna Oglesby on Thursday, May 27 2010 in Regina, SK. June was born February 22, 1925 in Thetford, Norfolk, England. She married Jack Oglesby on April 6, 1946 in the Church of England, Fakenham, Norfolk, England, and they immigrated to Canada in 1960. June always faithfully and respectfully supported Jack in his ministry. She was predeceased by her father, Grainger Randall Everitt-Newton, mother, Ellaline V. Everitt-Newton, and brother John Everitt-Newton. Left to mourn her passing are: her beloved husband of 64 years, Jack Oglesby; daughter Jacqueline (Glenn) Kurmey, granddaughter Shelby Kurmey and her children Justin, Rachelle and Nathan, grandson Mark (Lori) Kurmey and their children Andrew and Khali; daughter Judith (John) Vallance, granddaughter Stacy Reagh (Jeff) Lynnes and their children Joseph and Abby, grandson Geoffrey (Kristine) Vallance and their children Jack and Aidan; son James (Beryl) Oglesby; granddaughter LeeAnn (Cory) Fries and their children Mitchell and Marina, granddaughter Jessica (Nolan) Blondeau and their children Cassandra and Calan, and grandson Jason Oglesby (Jennifer) and their son Luka; and her adopted son John Oglesby. June is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Junes Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Mary Beth Nicks-Barbour and Pastor Bob Leeson officiating.
